My name is Sandra Boothe-Armstrong, and I am the Owner of DSMJAMAICANBAKERY LLC. Born and raised in the beautiful island of Jamaica, I carry with me a deep love and respect for our culture, food, and traditions. My journey into baking started at a young age, inspired by the vibrant flavors of Jamaica's rich culinary heritage.
I specialize in making authentic, handcrafted Jamaican Patties from scratch. The First 3 Letters in the name of the bakery Stands for: Danielle, Sandra and Mickyle. The recipe I used for the pastry and filling of the patties is my own recipe. I created the recipe over 20 years ago when my children: Danielle and Mickyle were very young. I took them to Jamaica for a visit and they told me that they like the commercial Jamaican Patties that I bought them, but they know that I can make them healthier and better. I started out with the very basic and not so healthy ingredients to practice. I ended up with a very delicious, healthy and nutritious recipe. The purpose of these Jamaican Patties is to provide nutritious food that is guilt free and promote happiness. You should feel happy when you eat.
